As a longtime member of the ensemble Torun Trio, I was able to build a large repertoire for clarinet, violoncello and piano, but I feel equally drawn towards other, perhaps more unusual instrument combinations and musical styles such as Klezmer or Eastern European folk music.
With the ensemble Bass Beasts we partially created new repertoire (original compositions for four bass clarinets and percussion quasi inexistent) and experimented with different ideas on how to present music on stage.
I had the honor to work with the AcademyAward-nominated artist Hauschka several times, and am even featured on one of his CDs with clarinet and bass clarinet.
The Duo SaitenWind with German cellist Anna Catharina Nimczik propose a very personal concert experience, guiding through a program of (often unrightly) rarely performed pieces for clarinet and cello.
And -last but not least- a new ensemble is in the creation phase, taking you soon on a journey through different musical worlds, presenting Klezmer, Jazz, Tango, or music from the Balcans as you have surely never heard it before! Stay tuned...
